Myrtle’s Story

I was helping an older couple for years and then Pat, Myrtle’s husband of 25 years took a fall in a doctor’s building and died 4 days later. Now Myrtle has sold her and Pat’s home and bought a much smaller house which she doesn’t like, and she will pass without paying the house off. Her children’s inheritance is GONE!!!!
Myrtle thought she could go through probate with her attorney and a friend and she would be okay. She was WRONG!!!! Please read this and don’t make the same mistake that she made let us HELP YOU!!!
Myrtle and Pat had 5 years left on their 2nd mortgage that they took out to fix up their 2700 square foot 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath with a full basement. Her home would’ve been completely paid for in 5 years and she would’ve been debt free.
After Pat passed away Myrtle met with their attorney and being a good attorney, he told her all the things that could happen in court and she MADE the BAD DECISION of selling her home for less than what it was worth. On the sale of the home she lost about $70,000 and then she had to give his children half of the profit.
Then she hired a “friend” recommended moving company who took full advantage of her. The owner of the company charged her full price for packing up her home and then he sent his family to her house as his employees were busy other places. Again, she LOST MONEY.
When she sold her home, she didn’t have any place to go so she put her belongings into storage LOSING MORE MONEY!!! Lived with different family members for the next 6 months and finally bought her another house. Her new home is a 3-bedroom, 2 bath 1565 square foot home on a slab with a 30-year mortgage.
